The World renowned rock guitarist Gary Hoey released “Deja Blues,” in November 2012 on Wazoo Music Group. “This is an album of original blues songs I’ve wanted to record for a long time. The Blues has always been near and dear to my heart, I have so much respect for it. When I’m recording a blues song, it’s a 5-minute journey and you can’t take a breath, you can’t keep punching in the recording button to fix stuff or it loses the vibe.” The album has many Gary Hoey originals, some of which feature great guest appearances, including James Montgomery on “Boot Hill Blues,” Jon Butcher on the Texas Shuffle “Almost Over You,” Johnny A on “She’s Walking,” and finally, Frank Hannon on the southern rocking “Got to Believe.”
Gary’s next Blues release is due out in June 2016 and promises a rockin’ Blues follow up.
With a collection of 18 albums and a #5 Billboard Rock hit with “Hocus Pocus” it’s no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Gary’s clients have included Walt Disney films, ESPN, New Line Cinema, and scoring the Roller Coaster “California Screaming” songs placed in “Office Space”, “Deck The Halls” with Danny Devito, Beethoven III (The dog movie) Endless Summer II full score.
