Volunteer Application & Information

Everything you'll need to become a Blues N' Brews Volunteer

Blues ‘N Brews Volunteers must be 18 or older as of the festival date. Special arrangements may be made for children of Rotarians, Beneficiaries, and Partner groups; please ask for details. Upon arrival, all volunteers are required to sign the Hold Harmless agreement (Parent or Guardian must sign for kids). Photo ID is required for alcohol consumption.

The festival is held rain or shine. If you volunteer, we expect you to show up. If you think there’s any chance you won’t be able to work your shift as planned, please do not volunteer!

Volunteers receive free admission and unlimited bottled water during their shift. Anyone who works the 2 shifts will receive a Meal Voucher worth $7.00.  There may be other benefits (like t-shirts) if we get sponsors to cover the cost.  Security is a full day commitment (12:30 pm to 8:30 pm). Security personnel are not allowed to drink alcohol during their shifts.

Volunteers are asked to arrive 30 MINUTES PRIOR to their shift. This allows time for check-in, orientation, and training. Later shift volunteers may check in early if they want to enjoy the festival before their shift starts. Check-In is at the Staff Entrance.

The Staffing Coordinator is in charge of all position assignments other than Security. Positions may include Front Gate, Brew Tent Pouring Assistants, Booth Help, etc. You may indicate your preference in the Comments section, and we will try to get you your choice, but there are no guarantees. If this is a problem for you, please do not volunteer.

After your form is submitted, you will get an automated email response to let you know we received it. The Staff Coordinator will send you a follow-up email closer to the event date with your volunteer assignment. The confirmation email will include further details such as arrival times, parking info, and general policies.

If you have any questions, contact staffing coordinator Gulshan Kumar at gulshan@rangoligrill.com
